GitHub Transparency Report
GitHub’s reported government takedown requests, requests to disclose user information (including national-security letters), DMCA takedowns and circumvention claims, automated detection, appeals and reinstatements, and EU-DSA monthly active users. A tidy-long dataset: each row is one measured value, identified by dataset × year × period × government × category × metric. Exact counts have equal low/high bounds; national-security letters/orders and EU-DSA MAU are published as banded ranges (low ≠ high) — so summing the upper bound is an upper estimate.
