China — 12321 telecom-spam report statistics
The 12321 网络不良与垃圾信息举报受理中心 (12321 Internet Bad & Spam Information Reporting Center), run by the Internet Society of China under the MIIT, was China's national hotline for reporting telecom / internet nuisance and spam. From 2016-09 to 2019-02 it published a monthly bulletin tallying how many public reports it received per category — malicious apps, junk & illegal SMS, harassment calls, bad websites, comms fraud and spam email. The telecom-spam complement to the CAC/12377 content-reporting series: a different agency and remit. The series was discontinued after Feb 2019. Early (2016) figures are exact counts; from 2017 they are rounded to 万 (ten-thousands). Pin a category before aggregating: sms already sums sms_spam + sms_illegal.

Reports received, by category and month
The monthly figures the 12321 center published, per report category. sms is the monthly total and sms spam + sms illegal are its two parts (so they don't add to the other columns); fraud comms and spam email appear in the 2016-era bulletins only. Counts are exact in 2016 and 万-rounded from 2017.
